Our Story

At Designs by Faith Gift Shop, we create God-inspired jewelry and apparel to uplift, encourage, and share faith with the world. Each design is crafted with care and purpose, with only seven of each item made to celebrate individuality and faith. Founded by Dr. Faith L. Johnson, our mission is to bring creativity and inspiration together to glorify Jesus and make an impact.

Dr. Faith L. Johnson, Founder and Owner of Designs by Faith Gift Shop, blends her passion for creativity with a deep commitment to faith. Born in New Orleans and rooted in Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Johnson brings a wealth of experience in business, administrative services, and ministry to every design.

A natural creative, Dr. Johnson is inspired by God to craft unique, faith-filled designs that encourage and uplift. At Designs by Faith, every piece—custom jewelry or apparel—is more than just a product; it’s a message. With only seven of each item created, each design is as unique as the people it inspires, bringing JESUS to the world one creation at a time.

Beyond her creative pursuits, Dr. Johnson has over 20 years of nonprofit and public education administration expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tougaloo College, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Theology from H.O.P.E. Bible, as well as her Doctorate in Biblical Psychology, and is a Licensed Professional Christian Therapist.

  • What are your hours of operation?
    Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Central Standard Time We are closed on all federal holidays as well as New Year's Eve, Good Friday, Easter Monday, the entire week of Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
  • Does Designs by FAITH Gift Shop provide clients with the opportunity to place custom orders?
    Yes, Please email us at designsbyfaith2003@gmail.com with your official inquiry and you will be provided a quote within 48 business hours from the receipt of your email. All Designs by FAITH Gift Shop items are made by hand therefore all custom items will have an additional fee assessed. Our company will not produce any custom items under a 2week turnaround due to the purchasing/receiving of specified materials if they are not already on hand. NO NEXT DAY orders. NOTE: Custom tshirts will require a $10 custom design fee assessment. Custom jewelry will require a $5 design fee assessment
  • How can we contact you?
    Designs by FAITH Gift Shop can be reached via email at designsbyfaith2003@gmail.com. We strive to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days or less. Email communication ensures a reliable record of our conversations and allows us to assist you efficiently at any time.
  • What brand of shirts does the company use?
    The majority of our tshirt designs are created using Gildan brand tshirts with the exception of our tie dye, sleeveless and raglan shirts. All none Gildan brands are notated under the product description.
  • What is your Exchange/Refund Policy?
    To ensure the safety of all customers, we do not offer exchanges. All Designs by FAITH Gift Shop sales are final unless there is an error made on the company's behalf.
  • What shipping method is used and how long will it take to arrive to me?
    Our company utilizes USPS priority flat rate shipping. Our products typically arrive within 3-5 business days for all in stock products. Clients are asked to add an additional 5 business days for the processing of all customized items. Please note that USPS has been experiencing shipping delays over the past year. Once your order has been shipped, tracking information will be forwarded to the client at the time. The tracking information will give you, the client, first hand information from USPS regarding the shipment/delivery of your package.
  • What is your holiday shipping policy?
    At Designs by FAITH Gift Shop, we want to ensure a smooth and timely delivery experience. Please note that we do not control the speed or delays of USPS shipping. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number. At that point, your package is in the hands of USPS. To help avoid any issues, please double-check that all shipping addresses are accurate before submitting your order. Designs by FAITH is not responsible for packages shipped to incorrect addresses if they match the information provided at checkout. Guaranteed Delivery by Christmas: Orders for in-stock (non-custom) items placed by December 15 and shipped via USPS Priority Mail are guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. Orders placed after this date may experience delays. Local Customers: If you are in the Metro Jackson, MS area, please contact us before placing your order to explore pick-up or delivery options.
